Dr. Sherry Shafighi

Sherry Shafighi, DDS, believes that dental care begins with listening to the patient. After an examination and after she studies the results, she knows it is critical to fully discuss and explain the recommended treatment options. In other words, Dr Shafighi believes that care and treatment must be personalized for each patient and that the patient's concerns must be fully addressed.

Dr. Shafighi earned her B.S. degree in Physiological Sciences at the University of California, Los Angeles where she also got her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. She received advanced training in the General Practice Residency Program at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Her humanitarian approach to dentistry includes volunteering her services for people who do not have access to dental care as a participant volunteer dentist in Roatan, Honduras, where she cared for patients of all ages. Utilizing Mobil Dental Clinics, Dr. Shafighi has also cared for children in underserved communities of Southern California.
